Improving Event Package Requests for Healthcare Brands

Overview
Medora Events Co. is an event management platform catering to pharmaceutical companies hosting drug launches and healthcare events. I was responsible for designing a responsive website and backend dashboard that allows clients to explore, customize, and inquire about event packages.
The outcome was a streamlined digital experience that simplified event planning for busy healthcare professionals while enabling the Medora team to manage requests efficiently.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Medora often struggle to get clients and keep track of the booking process due to outdated or manual booking processes. This leads to delays, miscommunication, and limited visibility into available options, making event planning time-consuming and inefficient.

I created a user journey to map how Sarah, our ideal Medora client, would navigate the process of planning an in-person event from discovery to execution. This journey explores her goals, emotions, and decision points as she searches for the right package, secures a booking, and successfully launches her event.
By visualizing each step of her experience, the journey reveals key opportunities to reduce friction, build confidence, and create delight. These insights informed design decisions that align with Medora’s goal of delivering seamless, stress-free event planning for modern teams.

What I did
After identifying key insights from the research questions and analyzing the company’s existing user flow, I mapped out a user journey to highlight opportunities for improvement. This was complemented by a detailed competitor analysis to benchmark industry standards and identify gaps Medora could fill.
Next, I created mid-fidelity wireframes in Figma, with a strong focus on typography, layout structure, and copywriting across the marketing pages. The design strategy was informed by the Fogg Behavior Model ensuring every page aligned with user motivation, ability, and prompt to drive engagement and conversions.
